3)      Lon-exchange resin: Eliminates carbonate hardness in water (to prevent formation of scales); eliminates heavy metals such as lead,copper,mecury,cadmium,aluimium,zinc,etc, retains beneficial substances such as calcium

4)      Filtration at base: The filtration net at the base provides the final filtration
